EMMA PRICE THE PAINTER . PENCIL ARTIST
Emma Price is an abstract and semi-abstract landscape oil painter based in Surrey, England. Her work is rooted in emotional memory and visual impressions drawn from the natural environments she has lived in and travelled through. Themes of nature, conservation, and the environment run through her practice.
Through rich layers of light and colour, Emma creates atmospheric and ethereal landscapes that evoke a strong sense of place – her work invites meditative stillness and explores, how we, as individuals, find belonging and meaning within nature.
She has been selected four times for the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition, winning the Earth’s Wild Beauty category in 2024, depicting wildfires. Her work has shown with the Society of Women Artists and the Society of Graphic Fine Art, at the Mall Galleries.
She was shortlisted for the Women in Art Prize 2023, appeared as a wildcard on Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year 2024. She is an Associate Member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (The Drawing Society UK), exhibiting regularly across the UK.
